Ghaleya Aldhafiri is an Iranian writer, translator and cultural activist. She is the author of four books in English: "The Fourth Home," "Sons of Freedom," "Carry Me," and "The Book of Sand." Her work has been translated into many languages, including French, German, Dutch, Turkish, Slovenian and Persian. She was born in Tehran in 1955 and studied in Tehran and Oxford Universities. She has lived and worked in Paris since 1997.
